Monarch

The main reason why I purchased a grill guard is for the very reason above - a Monarch Butterfly stuck and smacked right on it. When I replaced my radiator 5 years ago, I found a bunch of insects stuck and dead in it which prompted me to purchase a grill guard immediately.

I was flipping through the channels a couple weeks ago and ran into a sketch comedy show on Comedy Central. After laughing through the program I became an immediate fan of Demetri Martin. The show airs every Wednesday entitled “Important things with Demetri Martin.

Orchids 101

I spent the weekend helping my family sell orchids in Lake Merritt, Oakland at the Orchid show. With no knowledge on the horticulture of Orchids, the only assistance I was able to provide was to transport the plants. As I stood/sat near the booth dumbstruck at the questions thrown my way, I met a few nice people who educated me on Orchids. The picture shown above is one of my mom's Peloric Orchid.

Getting Dirty

I took my Jeep(TJ) out and treated it to a nice mud bath this weekend. I’ve had my TJ for 6 years and took it out 4 wheeling at Hollister for the first time. I had a blast. They've got trails for different levels from beginners to expert and play areas to test the durability of your car. With the exception of tires and a header, my TJ is stock.
