New Inspiration

So the past few months, I’ve been asked by several people on some guidance on traveling to Europe. I’m definitely not an expert at it, but I do have my two cents on, “How to.” With questions on how to thrown at me, I was inspired to start creating my next several posts on my other page Time Traveling which will be dedicated to how to travel to Europe entitled “Traveling Europe 101.”

If there’s one thing that I like to discuss, it’s traveling. It has become a passion of mine in which meeting people and discovering other cultures is humbling. My experiences during the past few years have led me to think that sometimes it is not about the destination, but rather the uncertainty of events that take place.

Going back to Paris

I’ve traveled through Europe several times now and each trip has been a unique and wonderful experience. One country that I haven’t returned to since my first trip is France, so this time around I’m planning to return to France. During my first trip around Europe I visited Paris for a quick 2 1/2 days and 2 nights. Paris is such a big city and 2 1/2 days isn’t enough to absorb the country’s culture. With that in mind, I’m excited to return to Paris to enjoy Bastille Day, enjoy the southern side in Provence, and hopefully a wine tour in Bordeaux.

Manny

Not Manny Ramirez or Manny Pacquiao, but manny as in male nanny. That’s what I’ve been doing this entire week; I volunteered to baby sit my 3 month old nephew. Since I’m currently unemployed, I need to find a way to contribute into today’s society. There isn’t any better way than to help out my family and watch the tiny one. All he does is eat, sleep, and dirty his diaper. Once in a while he’ll get fussy, but that’s due to itchy gums and a bad belly. He was constipated a few days ago and now, I think he’s teething.

510 Sighting

My Family and I had dinner in the city for Mothers Day. We ate at Hana Zen for the second year in a row. They’ve got excellent Japanese food and I very much enjoyed the extra fatty tuna sashimi style which was named O-Toro and the Foie Gras.
A Datsun 510 was parked in front of the restaurant which caught my eye. The body appeared to be in excellent condition and the paint appeared to be original. I’m heavily considering a 510 to be my project car in the future.

Breakfast

I ate at Southern Kitchen this morning which is located on Monterey Ave in San Jose. I had Chicken Fried Steak, 3 Eggs, Hash Browns, 2 Swedish Pancakes, and 2 Biscuits with Gravy. Saying that I am full is an absolute understatement.
